Azure Logic Apps: Cloud Native Capabilities to Integrate with Mainframe and Midranges

Microsoft has incorporated the core Host Integration Server features into Azure Logic Apps so its Cloud customers can leverage native Mainframe and Midranges integration capabilities.

Mainframe products such as IBM CICS, IMS, MQ, DB2, Informix, VSAM, SNA have been evolving over the last 30-40 years—and so has Microsoft.

In 1993 Microsoft released its first product to provide integration with IBM host systems. This product evolved into Host Integration Server, which has been providing core mainframe and midranges integration capabilities for our strategic customers.

Microsoft has incorporated the core Host Integration Server features into Azure Logic Apps so its Cloud customers can leverage native Mainframe and Midranges integration capabilities.
